charming stay
kind owner beautiful decor wonderful smell
the owner was very kind to me. he. the guesthouse decor was charming and very beautiful to see. the toiletries all had a wonderful smell i enjoyed using.
i noticed the room was quite cold because the heating only came on late in the evenings. this. it could have been better with warmer room temperature.

clean room good facilities attentive staff old room damaged floorboards loose rail
the room was clean. it had good facilities. the staff were attentive and helpful. the breakfast offered a great range of options like cooked meals, pastries, cereal and fruit.
i was told upon arrival that our room was the last for a makeover. within minutes, i walked over to the window and went through a hole in the floorboards. the bannister rail at the top of the spiral staircase was loose, i thought i was going to fall down the stairs as it gave way.

broken latch poor maintenance
The room was small. the window latch was broken, it posed a security risk since it was on the ground floor. i expected better maintenance for the price I paid. The room was not well maintained.

wonderful stay!
warm welcome early bag drop wide range
i was greeted warmly upon arrival. i was allowed to drop off my bags early so i could explore the area. the breakfast room decoration is really special. i enjoyed the wide range of continental options alongside a full scottish breakfast.
the shower was very small, i was barely able to move once inside it with the doors shut.
